With 10 years of experience, Lori, a registered nurse and leading newborn photography educator, ensures each session is conducted with the utmost care and safety. We are passionate about providing an intimate and personalized experience that you and your family will cherish forever.
Our studio, located just outside of Houston in Alvin, TX, is designed to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for both you and your newborn. Sessions are typically scheduled within the first 21 days of life to capture your baby’s early, delicate features before they change.

Our newborn sessions include full family portraits, accommodating up to eight family members, with the option to add more. We encourage including grandparents, parents, siblings, and other loved ones to create a comprehensive family portrait that celebrates your new addition.

Comfortable Studio Environment

Our studio in Alvin, TX, is designed for your comfort and convenience. With a range of props, blankets, and outfits, we ensure a seamless and enjoyable session for you and your newborn. Sessions are scheduled Friday through Tuesday at 9:30 am to suit your family’s needs.

*scheduling your session* HOW TO BOOK?

To secure your newborn session, we require a $200 session fee. This fee covers the time and talent of your photographer, the use of props, and a complimentary online viewing gallery. **Digital image collections are purchased separately and not included in your session fee.**

FAQs

After years of photographing newborns I have put together the ultimate collection of props to create timeless and elegant newborn studio portraits. All you need to bring to your session is yourself, your baby and something to feed your baby. I do recommend bringing a pacifier to your session, even if you don't usually use one at home. This short time of use won't interfere with your nursing journey, but it can really help your session go smoothly.
Absolutely! Siblings are always welcome in the studio. If including small siblings in the session we will begin with family so the littles are free to go to the park or a drive if need be!
We feel this. We have littles and sometimes they do NOT want to participate. We also know how important it is to be patient and engage your kids in fun games to help you interact. As a seasoned newborn photographer I have a LOT of tricks up my sleeve to ensure your baby is sleepy. This includes preparation tips for you and ensuring the perfect environment in our studio. On the occasion a baby doesn't want to sleep, we get to capture your little inquisitive baby with their eyes open! This often helps them to expend the necessary energy to sleep for those squishy posed photos. You will receive a beautiful gallery of images no matter if your baby is awake or asleep.
We just had a blast at your session and now you can't wait to see the results! Proofing galleries will be ready in 1-2 weeks. You will make a favorites list of those images you just can't live without and we will return your final gallery images in 1-2 weeks. Normally our editing department is on their A game and galleries are returned ahead of schedule.
Our calendar gets busy, and in order to secure space on our calendar a non-refundable session fee and signed contract is due at the time of booking. This holds your date and helps us to both be on the same page.

We know you sometimes just want to revisit your session. Your gallery will be accessible for 2 years. We also store your images for 10 years. We know that life happens and maybe things get lost. Please do not hesitate to reach out if something happens to your images. We will gladly replace your digital products for you.
Photo day is the perfect day to do something special for yourself. You don't have to, but it definitely will elevate your images! We do recommend not getting a spray tan the day of and we also recommend keeping your styling as natural aspossible so your essence shines through!
We do! You can find our print prices on your proofing gallery. We have made ordering simple and list most of our products in our online gallery store. Don't see something you were looking for? Reach out! We can either order it for you or recommend the best place for printing. Your images shouldn't live on your phone or computer. Get them printed! You won't be sorry you did.
Newborns do not stay newborns for long. Many clients book their newborn session in the second trimester. I take a very limited number of sessions a month, so be sure to reach out as soon as you are comfortable in your pregnancy. Once your baby has officially arrived we will schedule your session. Sessions take place Monday-Friday at 9:30am. Newborn sessions are not offered on the weekends.
