How sessions work
Time
Are we aiming for that golden hour light? Early dawn mist? Or are we using the studio where the elements don't factor? We will recommend the perfect time for your session.
Location
What's the vibe? Are we thinking beach? Nature? City? We have you covered. We have tried and true locations that will bring out the VERY best of who you are. They don't steal the show, they only help to highlight just how amazing you are.

Once we have all those details set, we can help make styling suggestions so your color scheme works.
At the session
Session day is here! Get ready for lots of fun and laughter! Feel awkward in front of the camera? We got you. Don't know what poses you should do? We got you. Don't know when to "say cheese"? We got you! During your session we will guide you from pose to pose, directing you when to look at the camera or look away, and helping to bring out your authentic self so we can hear your giggles through your images. Congratulations you just had a great time taking portraits!
Final touches
When are your images going to be ready? Proofing galleries are delivered in 1-2 weeks so you can choose your favorite images. Once final selections are made your images are returned to you within 1-2 weeks. Looking for prints and wall art? We can help! Now, don't forget to go ahead and let's get you on the calendar for next year, cause you'll be ready and waiting to do this again...we PROMISE!

Living in coastal Texas we know the risk for rain. Some weeks it seems like it is NEVER ending. We are always monitoring the weather the week of your session and will make recommendations based on our years of experience in managing outdoor sessions. But we also know sometimes your schedule will not accommodate a reschedule, which is why we always have the option to use our studio for sessions.

We feel this. We have littles and sometimes they do NOT want to participate. We also know how important it is to be patient and engage your kids in fun games to help you interact. Sometimes it also means we just follow your kiddos around like the paparazzi and catch them in action! Don't stress; let's just have some fun!

We do! BUT they are seasonal and limited. We offer 1 day of Spring and 1 day of Fall minis and 1-2 days of Christmas Holiday minis. These typically sell out quickly and are a huge hit for those who are looking for a quick session with a few images. Our calendar gets busy, and in order to secure space on our calendar a non-refundable retainer and signed contract is due at the time of booking. This holds your date and helps us to both be on the same page.

We know you sometimes just want to revisit your session. Your gallery will be accessible for 2 years. We also store your images for 10 years. We know that life happens and maybe things get lost. Please do not hesitate to reach out if something happens to your images. We will gladly replace your digital products for you.

Photo day is the perfect day to do something special for yourself. You don't have to, but it definitely will elevate your images! We do recommend not getting a spray tan the day of and we also recommend keeping your styling as natural a possible so your essence shines through!

We do! You can find our print prices on your proofing gallery. We have made ordering simple and list most of our products in our online gallery store. Don't see something you were looking for? Reach out! We can either order it for you or recommend the best place for printing. Your images shouldn't live on your phone or computer. Get them printed! You won't be sorry you did.

Short answer? As soon as possible. The long answer? Our Fall months are our busiest months (August - December) and many of our families book their Fall weekend dates 6 months to a year in advance. We do not recommend relying on a mini session spot. We weren't kidding when we said they sell out fast.
